James McArthur Scholarship 2022

For Finance Students

Future finance professionals can apply here for the James McArthur Scholarship for Finance Students where a gift of $1,000 will be awarded to a single individual who is studying on the road to become a business student. A short essay is required and the winner will be chosen based off of the content in the essay.

Scholarship Overview

Mr. McArthur has spent many years as a financial advisor and would like a chance to give back to the next generation of business students with this scholarship award.

The James McArthur Scholarship announces our fund for future finance professionals located in the United States, which will provide funding for a deserving student that is studying to enter the field of finance as well as to create awareness for the issues faced by young students on the journey to a career in finance.

Criteria

To apply for our scholarship fund, be a current business student at a university in the United States or high school student that will attend a university for a business program.

The scholarship will be awarded based on an essay competition. One winner will be selected based on the results of a creative essay of under 1000 words which discusses the following:

“What are the most important issues facing Finance today and how would you improve upon them?”

Amount

One time award of $1,000

Deadline

The deadline to apply for the scholarship is December 15, 2022.

Winner Announced

The winner for the scholarship will be announced January 15, 2023.

Applicant should email their response to the essay question “What are the most important issues facing Finance today and how would you improve upon them?” in Word Doc format to [email protected].
